THE STORY OF THE STALL NINJA™
The Stall Ninja™ is Patent Pending
Returning home from a trip to Denver, Colorado in May 2019 stemmed a series of complaints from Rebecca Cole. She went to about 5 restroom stalls in IAH and 3 of them didn't lock or were missing the locking components completely. One door didn't align with the other door properly so you couldn't actually use the one and only lock screwed onto the door.
Finally arriving home, Rebecca told the tale of her's and Stephen's adventures in Denver to her father, Jerry Cole. Her complaints about restroom stalls that wouldn't lock prompted Jerry to say "Fix it". Stephen's brain took off and he started coming up with ideas. The goal being something small enough that she would be able to carry with her and be able to protect her privacy. They grouped the little money they had and purchased a cheap 3D printer from Walmart. He then used an online CAD program to design the pieces. He created the very first prototype of the Stall Ninja and presented it to Rebecca. She looked at the prototype unamused and said it was too large. Her reasoning was that no sane woman would carry something as big as he made it.
Angrily returning to the drawing board, Stephen eventually discovered how to reduce the size of the Stall Ninja by 50%. He created another prototype and Rebecca tested it in various situations (different stall thickness, imperfect stall door and stall frame alignment, and different placements of The Stall Ninja on the stall door/stall frame). 3D printing, while good for creating prototypes, is not a perfect art. Despite the problems with accuracy - it worked! We worked hard to improve the 3D printing process after purchasing a better 3D printer.

How does a portable restroom stall door lock get the name, Stall Ninja? From a great creative Canadian mind, Ms. Tammy Draper.

By November 2019, FleminCo Enterprises was born. After much consideration, it was decided that FleminCo would close December 30, 2022. The owners: Rebecca and Stephen, have decided that their passions lie elsewhere.
